Terms & Conditions
These terms govern your access to our website and your participation in Saujana Fund programmes. Please read them carefully before enrolling.

1. Definitions
In these Terms and Conditions, the following terms have these meanings:
- "Saujana Fund", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Saujana Fund, operating from 44 Jalan Yap Kwan Seng, 50450 Kuala Lumpur.
- "Website" — means the site at {{DOMAIN}} and any associated pages.
- "Programme" or "Course" — refers to any financial education session, workshop, or multi-session programme offered by Saujana Fund.
- "Participant" or "you" — means any individual who enrols in or attends a Saujana Fund programme, or who uses the website.
- "Materials" — means workbooks, templates, slides, worksheets, and any other educational resources provided as part of a programme.
- "Agreement" — means these Terms and Conditions, our Privacy Policy, and any enrolment confirmation issued to you.
2. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing our website or enrolling in a programme, you confirm that you:
- Are at least 18 years of age and have legal capacity to enter into a binding agreement under Malaysian law
- Have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
- Agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations
If you are enrolling on behalf of another person, you confirm that you have the authority to bind that person to these Terms.
3. Our Services
Saujana Fund provides financial education programmes for adults, particularly those aged 40 and above. Our current offerings include:
- Freelancer Financial Foundations — two-session course covering income management and financial planning for self-employed individuals
- Structured Deposit Education Course — three-session course on capital-protected deposit products available in Malaysia
- Resilient Retirement Programme — seven-session programme on building a durable retirement plan, including quarterly reviews for one year
Programme content is educational in nature. Sessions may be conducted in person, online, or in a hybrid format. Saujana Fund reserves the right to modify the format, scheduling, or facilitator of any session for operational reasons, with reasonable prior notice.
4. Enrolment and Registration
Enrolment is confirmed once we receive your completed enquiry or registration and payment of the applicable programme fee. You will receive a confirmation by email within two working days.
Session schedules will be confirmed upon enrolment. We will use reasonable effort to accommodate your scheduling preferences, subject to availability.
We reserve the right to decline or cancel an enrolment if, in our reasonable judgement, participation would not be suitable or beneficial for the individual concerned.
5. Your Responsibilities
As a programme participant, you agree to:
- Attend sessions at the agreed time and communicate any changes with at least 48 hours' notice
- Engage with materials and activities in good faith and at your own pace
- Use course materials solely for your personal, non-commercial learning
- Treat facilitators and fellow participants with courtesy and respect
- Not record sessions without express written consent from Saujana Fund
- Provide accurate information during enrolment
You acknowledge that applying the knowledge gained from our programmes is your personal responsibility and is subject to your individual circumstances.
6. Payment Terms
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise.
- Freelancer Financial Foundations: RM 710
- Structured Deposit Education Course: RM 1,350
- Resilient Retirement Programme: RM 3,400
Payment is due in full prior to the first session unless an alternative arrangement has been confirmed in writing by Saujana Fund. We accept payment via bank transfer and other methods communicated at enrolment.
Late payment may result in your session being postponed until payment is received.
7. Cancellation and Refund Policy
Cancellation by participant
- 14 days or more before first session: Full refund, less a RM 50 administrative fee
- 7 to 13 days before first session: 50% refund of programme fee
- Less than 7 days before first session: No refund, but you may transfer your enrolment to another individual or defer to the next available cohort (once per enrolment)
Requests for cancellation or deferral must be submitted in writing to legal@{{DOMAIN}}.
Cancellation by Saujana Fund
In the unlikely event that we cancel a programme, participants will receive a full refund of fees paid, or may choose to transfer to a rescheduled session. We will not be liable for any other costs you may incur as a result of cancellation.
8. Course Materials and Intellectual Property
All programme materials — including worksheets, templates, slides, written guides, and frameworks — are the intellectual property of Saujana Fund. You are granted a personal, non-transferable, non-commercial licence to use these materials for your own learning.
You may not copy, share, republish, sell, or distribute course materials to third parties without our written permission. This includes sharing materials on social media, online platforms, or within group chats beyond enrolled participants.

9. Disclaimers
Important: Saujana Fund provides financial education only. Nothing in our programmes, materials, or website constitutes financial advice, investment advice, tax advice, or a recommendation to buy or sell any financial product. All content is for educational purposes only.
You should always seek independent, licensed professional advice before making any financial decision. Saujana Fund facilitators are educators, not licensed financial advisers under the Capital Markets and Services Act 2007 or the Financial Services Act 2013.
Financial outcomes depend on individual circumstances, market conditions, and personal decisions. Saujana Fund makes no representation about the financial results you may or may not achieve after attending our programmes.
The website and all materials are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, to the extent permitted by Malaysian law.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, Saujana Fund's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our website or participation in our programmes shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific programme giving rise to the claim.
We shall not be liable for indirect, consequential, incidental, or special damages, including loss of income, loss of data, or financial loss arising from the application of information obtained through our programmes.
Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be excluded by law, including for fraud or wilful misconduct.
11. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold Saujana Fund, its staff, and facilitators harmless from any claims, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of our materials, or any action you take in reliance on our educational content without obtaining appropriate independent professional advice.
12. Termination
We reserve the right to remove a participant from a programme, without refund, if their conduct is disruptive, disrespectful, or in breach of these Terms. In such cases, we will communicate our decision in writing.
Either party may terminate their arrangement by written notice. Termination does not affect rights and obligations that have already accrued.
13. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia, with Kuala Lumpur as the primary venue.
We encourage you to contact us first at legal@{{DOMAIN}} to resolve any concern informally. We will endeavour to respond within 10 working days.
If informal resolution is not possible, the parties may agree to refer the matter to mediation before initiating legal proceedings.
14. General Provisions
- Entire Agreement: These Terms, together with the Privacy Policy and any enrolment confirmation, constitute the entire agreement between you and Saujana Fund regarding our services.
- Severability: If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.
- Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right or provision shall not constitute a waiver of that right.
- Assignment: You may not assign your rights under these Terms without our written consent. We may assign our rights to a successor or related entity.

15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time to reflect changes in our services or legal requirements. When we do, the "Last Updated" date will be revised. Your continued use of our website or participation in our programmes after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
For material changes, we will make reasonable effort to notify enrolled participants by email in advance.
